At Corpus Christi Primary School, we take a whole-school approach to Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). This framework supports student wellbeing by promoting, teaching, and recognising positive behaviours.
PBL is based on evidence-informed strategies that strengthen both academic achievement and positive behaviour. It acknowledges that, just as children learn the curriculum, they also learn appropriate and respectful behaviours.
Within this approach, our teachers and wider school community actively teach and model expected behaviours, while using positive reinforcement to celebrate when students make choices that reflect our shared values.
